Badminton competitions in Rivne
Internal club tournaments, the regional championship and away events. Group stage, knockout brackets, fair refereeing — for players of any level.
How our tournaments run
Players are split into categories by level and age so that games are even. First comes the group stage (round-robin within a group), then the best players go into the knockout play-off.
Depending on the number of entries we use single elimination (one loss and you are out) or double elimination (a losers’ bracket and a second chance). We play both singles and doubles.
Every match result is recorded in a protocol; at the end of the season we build a club player rating.

How to play
Watch for the announcement
We publish the date, venue and rules in the news and the Telegram channel 1–2 weeks before the tournament.
Register
For now — by message or phone +380 97 645 3347. State the event and, if you like, a partner for doubles.
Confirm your entry
The day before, we send the group draw and the time of your first match.
Come and play
Bring your own racket or use ours. Sportswear and indoor shoes.
Kinds of tournaments
Internal
For club players. Small, frequent, split by level — a good way to try competition for the first time.
New Year
The traditional December tournament — singles and doubles, a festive mood, prizes.
Regional championship
Official Rivne-region competition under the regional Badminton Federation.
Away events
Trips to tournaments in other cities — including “Badminton Marathon” in Vinnytsia and joint events with the Lviv and Kyiv federations.

The tournament module will live here.
Group tables, the play-off bracket with scores, the overall club rating and an archive of past events.
Competitions in 2024
The Badminton Federation of the Rivne region, whose Vice President is coach Mykola Diedovets, runs city and regional competitions together with the youth and sport and education departments — for schoolchildren, juniors and adult players.
